This year’s AFS Forum, themed “Investing in Africa’s Agri-Food Systems: Growing Jobs, Nourishing Nations, Building Resilience,” marks a key milestone as Africa enters a new CAADP decade. The forum offers a pivotal opportunity to turn continental ambitions into concrete progress, moving from pledges and commitments to tangible delivery. The AFSF 2026 summit agenda will be strategically anchored around two core themes: investments and access to finance.

A key change this year is our deliberate move toward fewer, higher‑quality sessions with a stronger focus on accountability. To support this, we are adopting an AFS Partners‑Led programming approach, centered on engagement within Thematic Platforms.

Given space constraints, we encourage all AFS partners to actively join the Thematic Platforms, collaborate with other members, and co‑curate both main‑forum and side‑event sessions that align with the forum’s objectives. Side‑event slots will be allocated based on availability and the level of collaboration in each proposal.

We look forward to your active participation and collaboration in making AFS Forum 2026 a resounding success.
