Dealroom Disclaimer

By applying to participate in the AFS Forum Deal Room, you acknowledge and agree to fully self-fund your participation and attendance at the annual summit. The AFS Forum Secretariat will not cover any costs associated with your attendance, including travel, accommodation, visas, or meals.

Submission of an application does not guarantee selection into the Deal Room. All applications are reviewed against the published selection criteria, and only those that meet the required standards will be shortlisted. The AFS Forum Secretariat's decisions are final.

Due to the large volume of submissions received, the AFS Forum Secretariat will only contact shortlisted companies. If you do not receive a response within the announced timeframe, your application was not selected for this cycle.

Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted in their application is accurate, truthful, and up to date. Any misrepresentation of information may result in immediate disqualification, even after selection.

The AFS Forum Secretariat will treat submitted business information with confidentiality. However, selected companies consent to having their business names and general profiles shared with Deal Room investors, partners, and event participants for the purpose of matchmaking.

Applicants retain full ownership of all intellectual property submitted as part of their application. The AFS Forum Secretariat does not claim any rights to the business concepts, products, services, or financial models shared during the Deal Room process.

The AFS Forum Secretariat shall not be held liable for any loss, cost, expense, or damage arising from participation in or exclusion from the Deal Room process, including but not limited to investment decisions made as a result of introductions facilitated through the Deal Room.

The AFS Forum Secretariat reserves the right to amend, update, or cancel the Deal Room process at any time, with or without prior notice to applicants. In such cases, no compensation or reimbursement will be provided.

By completing and submitting the application form, all applicants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this disclaimer. These terms apply to all applicants regardless of whether they are ultimately selected for the Deal Room.
