The terms that apply to this website and to your participation in the Africa Food Systems Forum.
These Terms of Use apply to your use of this website (afs-forum.org and its microsite for AFS Forum 2026) and to your participation in the Africa Food Systems Forum 2026 ("the Forum"), held 1–4 September 2026 at the Kigali Convention Centre, Kigali, Rwanda. By using this website or registering for the Forum, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or register.
The Africa Food Systems Forum is convened with the support of the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), together with the Rwanda Development Board as host-country partner. This website is provided as a source of information about the Forum — including the programme, speakers, venue and registration — and is intended to help you plan your participation.
Registration for the Forum is handled through our official registration portal at my.afs-forum.org. Pricing, pass types and any applicable terms for registration are described on our Register page and within the registration portal itself. We aim to keep this website accurate and up to date, but the registration portal is the authoritative source for pricing, availability and registration terms.
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the programme, speakers, schedule or venue where necessary, including in response to circumstances beyond our control. Where possible, we will share updates on this website or by email to registered delegates.
We want the Forum to be a respectful, safe and productive space for everyone. All attendees, speakers, partners and staff are expected to treat one another with courtesy and respect, and to comply with our Safeguarding Policy. We may decline entry to, or remove from the Forum, anyone whose conduct we reasonably consider disruptive, unsafe or inconsistent with these expectations.
Photography, video and audio may be captured at the Forum for documentation, editorial and promotional purposes. Details on how this works, and your choices around it, are set out in our Media Capture Policy & Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
The text, images, logos and other materials on this website belong to AFS Forum or are used with permission, and remain the property of their respective owners. You may view and share pages of this website for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as sharing a link with a colleague. Please do not reproduce, republish or use our content for commercial purposes without first checking with us.
This website links to third-party services we do not control, including the AFS Forum registration portal, accommodation booking services, airline partner offers, and Google Translate. We provide these links as a convenience. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party websites, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on this website accurate and current, but we do not promise that it is complete, error-free or uninterrupted. This website and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AFS Forum, AGRA and the Rwanda Development Board will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or your participation in the Forum, including loss connected to travel, accommodation or other arrangements you make with third parties. Nothing in these terms is intended to limit liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in our services or in applicable law. The version published on this page is the current one.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
